My Grandma Dorothy, my Dad's mom passed away today....this some day, 5 years ago my other Grandma, Helen, passed away.
When I went to see her yesterday she didn't recognize me.... Then she did and then she didn't again. I noticed that her breathing was weird then and then last night she woke up in a lot of pain and once she fell asleep after that episode she never woke up again. The nurse had said she probably wouldn't but that it could be 2 hours or 2 days...it was about 2 hours. She passed in her sleep in her own bed. She is in a better place and is now with my Grandpa who passed away almost 15 years ago.
We have put my parents' 40th anniversary party on hold.
That's all for now.

My niece found a little Westie in horrible shape in the church parking lot yesterday and I had to give her back to her retarded owners today! Her eyes were a mess, she peed non-stop, here ears were so badly infected she cried when I tried to clean them out, her skin was all pink and it a lot of it raw...fleas.... It made me so sick to have to do it but the law is the law. I did report her to the APL...photos, name, address and all...we shall see if they do anything! (I attached photos AFTER here bath and cleaned up ears and eyes...feel free to email me if you would like to call to report her to the APL too....I will email the info to you directly)
Ike hit Ravenna,OH yesterday in a big way. We were at Walmart last night and a fence fell on some cars and did some damge...the construction barrels were sliding across the parking lot too! CRAZY! Lots of my friends(yes, I do have some)are still with power and so are my parents. I allowed my mom to shower her today for a small fee...she hasn't paid me yet but I think she is good for the money! LOL. We are less a few shingles but I think sometimes they blow off when cars drive by. :o/ Nothing major for us though.
We had to cut Ethan's tail wrap off...I held him while Rob was the mean guy...he used a lot of profanity at us but it is done and his tail looks good. He has about half left and his stitched stay in for 2 weeks. I still think we could have done that here at home for much less! ;o)
Madison will be starting jazz on the 27th....the same day as the rabbit show at the fair grounds...not sure how we will handle that??
I lied about the girls....they were not switched to gifted classes they were switched to enriched language arts and then today advanced math. The guidance counselor called me today to tell me how impressed she was with the scores and how happy they were to have them at their school! :o) Kayla got the highest score possible in comprehension! ...everything was at least a ninth grade 6th month level....so pretty good! ;o)
PS. I will continue to add random photos since I am soooooo behind. I am 35 years old...that is a lot of blogging!

Thursday News!
Our foster dogs~Fiona and Bella.

The girls posing for Madison's birthday photo.
Baloo being the hottie that he is! :o)
Baloo went to the vet yesterday and his "tumor" was a pocket of fluid! YAY! The vet wasn't sure at first if it was fat or fluid so I am not completely crazy.
Today Ethan went to have his tail amputated...he is still at the vet...they were stitching him up at 3:00 when I called them. I am not yet sure if he is coming home tonight yet or not. This am they acted like probably not but this afternoon they acted like probably....so don't know yet.
Kayla and Katelyn took an assessment test yesterday as school since they are technically new students in the school system. So today, the guidance counselor told Katelyn that their language arts scores blew her away! So they are eligible for the enriched (or gifted) program if they want to switch to it. The math assessments have not yet been graded so we don't about those yet...we are supposed to find out tomorrow the actual scores of everything.
And final news of the day~~~Kayla and Katelyn are excited about selling their magazines and cookie dough for their fundraiser ....if they sell 12 items each they get to go to Kalahari! It is much better incentive than we ever had as kids! LOL.

TODAY'S Update
So, as if the vet bills for Baloo weren't going to be enough, our cat Ethan SOMEhow broke his tail. I am talking dangling with the bone exposed. The vet said it needs amputated. Madison's has impetigo on her face (from her cold) so she has to go to the doctor tomorrow, Baloo goes to the vet on Wednesday and Ethan goes back to have his tail amputated on Thursday! Here is Ethan at this year's cat show.
And since we are showing him we have attached photos of Ms. Amelia and Toby too. Ethan and Amelia both placed 3rd again this year and Toby placed first in his class.
I want this quilt!
It is in a raffle for another Greyhound group! But if you want it too you can buy raffle tickets here http://freedomgreyhoundrescue.org/index.php?pr=Greyhound_Quilt_Raffle

Some pictures......
Oh look, it's Baloo and his "special" ear! Baloopy was beaten up a little by a foster dog a couple of weeks ago and when we took him to the vet they did and xray of his swollen leg and saw "bone changes" that looked like osteosarcoma. He is to have xrays repeated in 6 weeks (from then) but last night I found a tumor on his side so we will be going back sooner. Please say a prayer for my baby!
Our two new bunnies~This is Mocha and he is of course another chocolate Dutch bunny and he belongs to Katelyn and will be shown at the fair next year. And that lop eared by is Levi~he is a blue Holland Lop bunny and he belongs to Kayla and will aslo be shown at the fair next year.
This is Madison's first day of Kindergarten. She is loving school but already had to miss a day because she got sick. All those germs from school :o(
